Myanmar Foreign Ministry Delegation led by Dr. Chit Win, Deputy Director-General of Strategic Studies and Training Department paid a study visit to Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China from 19-5-2025 to 23-5-2025.
In Nanning, H.E. Mr. Guo Wei, Deputy Mayor of Nanning City received the delegation on 21-5-2025. The meeting was attended by Daw Khaing Su Lin, Myanmar Consul-General. During the meeting, the Myanmar delegation expressed its gratitude for the Chinese humanitarian assistances in the aftermath of earthquake in Myanmar. Both also exchanged views on potentials for improving bilateral relations and cooperation including coordination in ASEAN-China Expo to be held in September 2025 as well as bringing Nanning investment into Myanmar.
The Myanmar delegation paid a visit among others to Myanmar Consulate-General and leading hi-tech and AI companies before leaving for Kunming.
